SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking to support a school that requires a Special Needs TA to work at a school in Bude from September. We are looking for someone that would like a full time, potentially permanent position within a school with excellent facilities.

The school has a really friendly and welcoming feel to it and have vibrant classrooms, which are great places to learn. This role will be work on a 1:1 basis with children with behaviour issues to support them with both their work within the classroom as well as outside it.

Previous experience of working with children or vulnerable people is essential, however personal experience is also valued. You must be proactive, enthusiastic and be able to work to your own initiative. We are seeking someone with the eagerness to engage with the children and families to support the continuous improvement of the school and its community.

The role is on a full time basis Monday – Friday and has the chance to go onto a permanent contract.

In order to apply for this role you must have the following:

• Reference information for the last sic years
• UK eligibility to work, an enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to have one undertaken at the cost of GBP40 with an additional cost of GBP13 for the Update Service
• The ability to be flexible and adaptable on a daily basis
