Looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant role for September?
We are currently advertising for an SEN Teaching Assistant role in the Northamptonshire area. You will be working with individuals who have physical abilities, sensory impairment, speech or language difficulties and also learning difficulties such as dyslexia, Autism, social, emotional and mental health needs, or have a combination of these.
As a special educational needs teacher you'll be working with young people who need extra support, or require an advanced programme of learning in order to reach their full educational potential. You will be teaching either individuals or small groups of pupils within, or outside the class. A key aspect of working in this field is identifying individual needs and being responsible for creating a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment.

Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience working within an SEN environment and has the patience and caring nature to help the students to fulfil their full potential.
We also offer a broad range of opportunities to work with secondary aged students and with students with a variety of different specialist needs. These include, but are not exclusive to, Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties, Physical Difficulties, hearing and visual impairments, Behavioural issues and Social, emotional and mental health issues.
