Pay: £90–£100 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? We are looking for a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with pupils across a range of supportive and welcoming secondary schools in Wigan.

About the Role:

• Work closely with pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to help students access the curriculum and develop socially and emotionally.

• Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external agencies to support pupil progress.

• Roles available in Key Stage 3 and 4, depending on your experience and preference.

• Opportunity to go temp-to-perm for the right candidate!

✅ Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school, care, or support settings).

• A nurturing and resilient approach to behaviour and emotional regulation.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• A genuine passion for inclusion and helping pupils thrive.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one).
