SEN Teaching Assistant Required, Thornton, Lancashire (FY5)
- SEN Teaching Assistant Required For a Long Term Post Starting in January 2024.

A two form entry primary school in Thornton, Lancshire (FY5) are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 team. The school require a dedicated practitioner to work in their Year 2 class Teacher to support a child with ADHD on a 1:1 basis. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing nature and will be able to build good relationships with children and staff alike. Experience working with children with Specific SEN is desirable but not essential. A candidate who can build a strong relationship with the child and has an enthusiastic attitude may be considered for the position.
This post is to start immediately and will run until the end of the academic year. The opportunity for extension may be considered for the right candidate.
To be considered for this position, you will:
- Have recent and relevant experience supporting children in KS1.
- Have an optimistic and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting teaching and learning.
- Ideally have experience supporting children with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
