(Primary SEN) Teaching Assistant – Stretford (M32)

Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join an SEN primary school in Stretford. The school's leadership is seeking a compassionate TA to help students with diverse learning needs. Many students have Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), while others have Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) and physical disabilities. Classes are tailored to students' abilities, and the Teaching Assistant will provide general support, including one-on-one assistance when needed, as all students have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).

The successful Teaching Assistant will start as soon as possible, with an initial trial period paid by Teaching Personnel. If successful, a permanent school contract is possible, offering an excellent opportunity to confirm if this role aligns with your career goals.

Key Details:

  • Role involves providing support to SEN students
  • Prior experience with SEN students is required
  • Convenient transportation options and on-site parking available at the SEN primary school in Stretford
  • Full-time position from Monday to Friday, typically from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
  • There may be instances where personal care is required.
  • £80+ per day, paid weekly through PAYE, with no agency fees or umbrella company involvement.
  • Registration with Teaching Personnel is necessary.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
