SEN Teaching Assistant
Job description
In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support children with Special Educational Needs such as Autism, Cerebral palsy, and other neurological needs
- Work effectively with other support staff to create a safe learning environment
- Help to assess and monitor children’s learning and development
- Support education in line witht the Priamry National Curriculum
- Support pupils with varying levels of Austism from severe to mild

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience supporting children or young adults with SEN in a school/care setting or through personal experience
- Knowledge of Primary Curriculum
- Ability to build relationships with children and staff quickly
- have a proactive efficient midnset and attitude
- A kind and caring manner to working with children
- The ability to be flexible to suit the needs of all children
- Experience supporting with personal care/moving and handling (desirable, not essential)
