Job description

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our friendly and supportive SEN school community.

In this rewarding role, you’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils reach their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally. You’ll assist with learning activities, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • A caring and patient individual with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

  • Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs including mental health challenges

  • Reliability and commitment to working Monday to Friday, during term time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
