Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in education? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to take on full-time Teaching Assistant positions across Rochdale. These rewarding roles are available immediately, with a focus on supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Role Overview

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping students thrive both academically and personally. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing targeted 1:1 support and delivering small group interventions

  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of tailored, engaging lessons

  • Supporting students' academic, emotional, and social development

  • Maintaining accurate records of progress and behaviour

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re looking for individuals who:

  • Are passionate about supporting young people, especially those with SEN

  • Demonstrate empathy, patience, and resilience

  • Possess strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Are adaptable, proactive, and eager to develop professionally

  • Live in or can reliably commute to the Rochdale area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
