SEN Teaching Assistant

A school based in the Trafford area is seeking to appoint a behaviour mentor to join their team in September.

The school has a large SEN department and are looking to expand their tea, and immediately to cope with demands from the most challenging pupils.

You will be working with pupils who exhibit angry, aggressive and withdrawn behaviour towards members of staff and other pupils. You will be working closely with the Head Teacher and the SENCO, ensuring regular feedback and evaluations are given to help improve the pupil’s behaviour and overall performance.

To be considered for this role, you must express the following skill set:

•Experience in a UK primary school (Early Years, KS1 and KS2)

•Experience working with students who have demonstrated challenging behaviour

•Confident, patient and tolerant

•Excellent communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
