Teaching Assistants Required – SEN School, Newcastle | September Start

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs?

We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join a thriving SEN school from September. This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

Position Details

  • Full-time: Monday to Friday
  • September start
  • Daily rate: £92 - £110 per day (dependent on experience, skills, and qualifications)
  • Long-term opportunities available

We are looking for well-rounded individuals who are:

  • Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs

  • Willing to get stuck into all aspects of school life
  • Strong team players with excellent communication skills
  • Committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
  • Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families

Previous experience working within education, care, youth work, sports coaching, or support work is desirable but not essential. The right attitude and a genuine desire to help pupils succeed are what matter most.

Essential Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to work full-time, 5 days per week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
