SEN Teaching Assistant – NE3, Newcastle
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the NE3 area of Newcastle. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with a range of additional needs and helping them thrive in a nurturing learning environment.
Key Details:
- Start Date: After May half term (Monday 1st June)
- Location: NE3, Newcastle
- Pay: £92–£110 per day (depending on experience)
The Role:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with a variety of special educational needs
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver inclusive learning
- Support students both in and out of the classroom
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children with additional needs
- A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
- Must hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
