SEN Teaching Assistant
Manchester
Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our client school located in the heart of the Manchester. This a full time role supporting our client schools students with Special Educational Needs.
The successful Teaching Assistant will join our client school in November and will be required until the end of the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking for a permanent role and would like to be introduced to large popular secondary school in Manchester. The role will involve a combination of in class support and one-to-one support outside the classroom. We are looking for a talented individual who will be pro-active and full of energy.
- Full time SEN TA role supporting students with Special Educational Needs
- 8:30am – 3pm, Monday – Friday, Commencing November 2019
- Competitive salary based on experience - Up to GBP1300 per month

- Ongoing CPD and access to training courses to develop your professional practice including Team Teach
The successful Teaching Assistant will have a passion for supporting students with additional needs and will ideally have previous experience working with Special Educational Needs, whether this be mild or severe. The successful Teaching Assistant will support students in classes and will work on a one-to-one basis to help them access the curriculum.
Our client school has a large SEN provision and will be welcomed by a large team of friendly Teaching Assistants and Teachers who will support you throughout your role. We are looking for an individual who is pro-active and will be able to attend to all students needs appropriately.
Our client school is a large multi-cultural and multi-faith secondary school located in the city centre. The school has over 1000 pupils on roll serving a diverse catchment area from the city centre and surrounding areas. Due to the location of the school, the school has a high number of disadvantaged students and students with English as an additional language. The building benefits from a wide range of state of the art facilities including a large SEN provision for all students with additional needs.
