1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Required, Manchester Primary School, Fallowfield, Manchester, M14

-          Full time SEN Teaching Assistant Post, Fallowfield, Manchester, M14

-          Experience supporting children with SEN essential

-          Competitive Rates of Pay dependant on experience

A client school in the Fallowfield area of Manchester (M14) are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team on a full time basis starting ASAP. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting learning in a primary setting and will be looking to develop their career in education, in their next, full time role!  

This ‘GOOD’ Manchester primary school is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 5 on a 1:1 basis. The child has been diagnosed with ADHD and can demonstrate extremely challenging behaviour. To be considered for this position, you will have a calm and compassionate nature and you’ll be dedicated in supporting the child, continually, through out the school day. The school are ideally looking for someone who has experience working with children with specific SEN but candidates who are flexible and adaptable will be considered.

This is a lovely primary school with a strong community feel which prides itself on creating a ‘caring and nurturing community for children, parents and staff!’ The head teacher and governors of the school are looking to recruit a adaptable Teaching Assistant who will thrive off getting involved in all aspects of school life!

This is a full time teaching assistant post which will start ASAP or as soon as all the necessary vetting checks have been completed for the successful applicant.  

To be considered for this position, you will:

  • Have experience supporting children with specific SEN
  • Have experience working in an educational capacity
  • Be looking to develop your career in education

The school can offer the right candidate the chance to work alongside dedicated practitioners who work hard to ensure that all children make progress across all areas.

The 1:1 SEN teaching assistant position is due to start in ASAP and will run until the end of the academic year. The opportunity for extension may be possible for the right person.
