SEN Teaching Assistant

Part time

Lancaster LA4

Start January 2026

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a Primary school in the LA4 area who are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant with experience working with children with Autism and ADHD. This school has a high number of SEN children, and you may be required to support a child 1:1. The position is starting in January 2026 as a part time role with potential to move to full time for the right candidate.

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant experience with autism and ADHD is preferred.
  • Support with extra-curricular activities with the SEN pupils
  • Based in the Lancaster area
  • A compassionate and dedicated TA who can adjust their teaching style to a range of different SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
