Teaching Assistant – SEN Based.

  • LA1 Based.
  • Full time.
  • 08:45-15:15.
  • SEN Experience essential.
  • Monday – Friday.

A reputable school within the Lancaster (LA1) area has requested the support of Teaching Personnel to appoint a SEN Support Assistant to work within 2 different classes supporting a child with additional needs and also some General Teaching Assistant work. This is an amazing opportunity to join a successful school.

The school:

The school is based in Lancaster (LA1) and has a strong, supportive leadership team that pride themselves in offered the best support to their staff team. The Head Teacher has a strong understanding of the needs of the children within her setting and offers every opportunity possible to support them in growing and using a curriculum built to support them to gain the best start in life.

The role:

This role is to work both with children with additional needs and also as a general Teaching Assistant, therefore the right candidate must be flexible within the role to support where necessary. This is a great opportunity to join a well led team that are welcoming and supportive.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to commit to this role at least until the end of February with the option to possibly extend depending upon the right candidate. Also, a candidate that is enthusiastic about supporting children with additional needs and has some experience working with SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
