Teaching Personnel are looking for both full-time and ad-hoc teaching assistants in East London to work across a range of SEN schools.
We work with a number of schools which cater to students who have an EHCP for needs including Autism, PMLD, SEMH, SLD, MLD and speech and language difficulties.
We need experienced, flexible and bubbly team members to work with students with additional needs in an education setting that is adapted to and embraces their differences and maximises their skillset.
You will be expected to work in classroom sizes of approximately 8 students alongside 2 other teaching assistants and a teacher and sometimes engage in 1-1 behaviour and learning interventions with students so good behaviour management and understanding of basic curriculum is needed. Personal care is also a part of this role so willingness to engage in this is mandatory. Moving and handling training is not a necessity however is highly desireable for candidates looking for roles in PMLD schools.
SEN Teaching Assistants should:
-Have experience working with SEN (either through previous work or personal experience)
- Be bubbly, flexible and hardworking
- Be willing to engage in personal care
- Be passionate aboout education and learning
-Have right to work in the UK

Pay rate- GBP65-80 per day through PAYE

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
