Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, tailored lesson plans.

Encourage children’s confidence and independence within the classroom.
-
Assist with academic tasks across subjects such as literacy and numeracy.
-
Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
-
Build positive, nurturing relationships with pupils to maintain a safe and inclusive environment.
-
(Desirable) Provide additional support to pupils with SEND, adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
Requirements:
-
Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school.
-
A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
-
Patience, flexibility, and a proactive approach to supporting diverse needs.
-
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
-
A relevant qualification (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or similar) is desirable, not essential.
-
An enhanced DBS check will be required.
-
Ability to travel between schools is desirable but not essential.
