Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: South East England, West Sussex, Horsham

Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £11.83 - £12.15 Per hour

Learning Support Assistant

Full Time or Part Time (31.25 or 18.50 hours a week Term Time Only)

Grade 3 point 3-4 Salary: £22,737 – £23,114 Pro rata Full Time

Grade 3 point 3-4 Salary: £11,365– £11,557 Pro rata Full Time

We require a Learning Support Assistant to work as part of our friendly school team with pupils from 4 – 11 years.

The individual appointed will need to demonstrate experience and skills in the following:

  • Be able to engage and motivate children appropriately and sensitively.
  • Have excellent organisational skills and be a good communicator.
  • Be able to use their initiative when working on their own and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Have the ability to maintain good relationships with pupils and parents to foster a positive school ethos.
  • Be flexible to work across the whole school when needed.
  • Provide cover for break and lunch-times as part of a team.
  • Be prepared to carry out First Aid training.

Full training will be given to the successful applicant in all aspects of the work to be undertaken.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
