SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time – Horley

Start Date: November 2025
Location: Horley, Surrey

Do you want to make a real difference in a secondary school setting?

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Horley. This is a full-time role starting in November, working closely with students who need additional support to reach their full potential.

About the Role:

  • Supporting students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs

  • Working in a classroom of 3-8 students.

  • Assisting the class teacher with differentiated learning

  • Helping students build confidence, independence, and social skills

  • Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting

  • A patient, positive, and flexible approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for education and inclusion

Desirable:

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, Level 3 TA, or equivalent)

  • Previous experience in a secondary school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
