About this role: This school is based 15 minuets away from Uxbridge town centre and supports children and young people aged 7 to 19 with severe and complex learning needs reach their full academic and personal potential. In this role you will be supporting these pupils with their academic progress but also supporting them in the community and beyond by working on daily life skill development such as communication, budgeting and more.

A successful candidate in this role will have had previous personal or professional experience supporting children and young people with different levels of SEN needs in addition to conveying an understanding in how individuals need can be met. Furthermore, candidates will also have manual handling training and be comfortable with providing personal care to students at the school. Candidates would also do well if they convey a passion for supporting and developing their knowledge on how best to meet the needs of pupils and expanding their understanding of different conditions which fall under SEN.
