SEN Teaching Assistant – KS1 | Primary School – Hassocks 
Term-Time Only | Immediate Start | Key Stage 1 Support

Are you passionate about supporting young learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We're looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school based in Hassocks, working closely with Key Stage 1 children.

About the Role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN in KS1

  • Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies

  • Help create a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment

  • Term-time only, during school hours (work-life balance friendly!)

About You:

  • Experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is desirable

  • Patient, compassionate, and flexible approach to learning

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Right to work in the UK is essential

  • Must hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
