Location: Multiple schools across Hampshire (Southampton, Portsmouth, Farnborough, Aldershot and other areas)

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting pupils’ learning and development in line with individual education plans (IEPs)
- Promoting positive behaviour and fostering respectful, trusting relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
- Assisting with the delivery of tailored interventions and activities designed to meet pupils’ social and emotional needs
- Contributing to a supportive and inclusive school ethos that values diversity and wellbeing
Person specification:
- Experience or a strong understanding of working with children with SEMH and additional complex needs
- Ability to develop and maintain positive, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
- A passionate and empathetic approach to supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and educational progress
- Commitment to working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
