Job Vacancy: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Hampshire
Salary: £13.75 per hour
Contract: Term-time only

 

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Do you want to make a real difference in a school environment? We are looking for a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Hampshire.

 

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to support children with a range of additional needs. Your role will be vital in helping pupils access the curriculum, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of personalised learning programmes

  • Support pupils with SEN both inside and outside the classroom

  • Help with behaviour management and social skills development

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals

  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children, preferably with SEN

  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work as part of a team and use your initiative

  • Commitment to supporting inclusion and diversity in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
