We are currently looking for Full Time Teaching Assistants to supprt in a SEN specialist setting in Godalming. The school caters for up to 150 pupils and Sixth Form students between the ages of 7 – 19, who have a range of academic abilities and complex needs. Teaching Assistants will be supporting within the Upper School, working with Secondary aged pupils.

The school are looking for enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistants who:

  • Are available Full Time
  • Have experience working within education/care settings 
  • Have experience supporting children with special educational needs
  • Care about the wellbeing of the children and want to help them achieve
  • Are keen to get involved, be proactive and always happy to help
  • Have experience of and be happy to support with behaviour management when necessary
  • Are happy to work with small groups or provide 1:1 support/intervention
  • Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to apply for one
  • Are able to drive and have access to a car

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
