Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Specialist SEN School (Primary & Secondary)

Location: Farnborough
Hours: Full-time
Pay: £14.20 per hour

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive specialist SEN school in Farnborough. The school supports primary and secondary pupils with a range of needs, including autism and learning difficulties, within a nurturing and structured environment.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children and young people thrive. Whether your experience comes from education, childcare, care work, youth work, or another people-focused background, we would love to hear from you.

The Role Includes:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups

  • Assisting with personalised and differentiated learning activities

  • Supporting communication, emotional wellbeing, and positive behaviour

  • Working closely with teachers and support staff to create a safe, inclusive environment

About You:

  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach

  • An interest in supporting children and young people with additional needs

  • Experience in SEN, childcare, education, or support roles is welcomed but not essential

  • A willingness to learn and develop within a specialist setting
