Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant at Primary School in Hull
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs?
We are excited to announce a vacancy for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Hull. This is a full-time, long-term role starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Individualised Support: Provide one-to-one support to a KS1 child with speech and language barriers.
- Learning Plan Implementation: Implement individualized learning plans to support the child's progress.
- Language Development: Utilize your understanding of early phonics to facilitate language development.
- Interventions and Support: Offer play-based interventions and sensory support as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience supporting children with speech and language barriers.
- Phonics Knowledge: Understanding of early phonics.
- Background: Background in EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) is advantageous.
- Skills: Experience with play-based intervention and sensory support is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
