 Position: SEN TA

 Location: Truro, Cornwall

 Contract: Full- Time (with the opportunity to go permanent)

 Salary: £89.38 – £110 per day Based on experience

 Available: After Christmas / January start 2026

About The Role

Teaching Personnel have a very promising opportunity for a passionate individual within a school based in the heart of Cornwall. Are you looking to support and inspire children with a love for education? Teaching Personnel is recruiting for a supportive team player who can work closely with staff and students.

What will your role consist of?

  • Creating a motivating and uplifting classroom environment that encourages growth and passion
  • Providing both group and one to one support with students
  • Working with teachers to give the best possible support
  • Applying and improving subject knowledge during your time in the classroom
  • This role will be working with pupils with Autism, having experience with this is desirable

What we are looking for

  • Experience in a classroom setting, HealthCare, personal SEND experience or youth work
  • Previous experience in the classroom/supporting students is preferred
  • Passion for delivering inspiring support that develops with students and teachers alike
  • Strong classroom collaboration skills and the ability to motivate students
  • A proactive, reliable team player ready for a full-time start after Christmas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
