SEN Teaching Assistant

The ideal candidate will be able to slot easily into a SEN school setting and be able to take initiative when supporting the class teacher, so experience in a similar environment would be an advantage. Successful candidates will have a ‘hands-on’ attitude when it comes to working with pupils with SEN, and may be expected to assist with personal care.

Sports graduates and coaches have proven to work successfully in the SEN and behaviour schools, which caters for students with Autism and challenging behaviour. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support within the class, and then take small groups of students out to deliver sports sessions.

An ideal candidate will have:

-A Sports coaching degree

-Excellent behaviour management

-Experience of working with Autism and Learning Difficulties
