SEN Teaching Assistant

Location:

South East England, Surrey, Chertsey

Salary:

£390+ per week

Job Duties:

  • Supporting the educational and social development of students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Assisting teachers in preparing for and delivering tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of SEN students
  • Providing one-on-one support to students as required
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborating with other staff members and parents to support student progress

Experience and Skills:

  • Relevant experience working with SEN students (preferred but not essential!)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience working in an educational setting
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Good organisational skills

Working Conditions:

  • Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
  • Work primarily in a classroom setting
  • May involve some physical activity such as assisting students with mobility

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
