Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel is thrilled to be partnering with a college in Camberwell, and they are in search of an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of students. You'll be involved in preparing learning materials, conducting classroom activities, and gaining valuable hands-on experience, all under the supervision of experienced professionals.
Your work will closely align with the SENCo and Assistant Headteacher. You may also find yourself assigned to work with the Leaders of Mathematics, English, Science, or other departments, contributing to the holistic development of students.
In This Role, You'll Have The Opportunity To:
• Work closely with individuals or small groups of students, collaborating with teaching staff to provide personalized support.
• Proactively assist students in numeracy and literacy activities to enhance their skills.
• Support SEN students in effectively utilizing IT in the classroom, embracing technology as a learning tool.
• Foster a positive behaviour environment, boost self-esteem, and inspire an aspirational culture within the student body.
• Work with SEN students to help them become independent learners, nurturing their growth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
