Teaching Personnel is welcoming applications for our next intake of Unqualified Postgraduate Teaching Assistants! We're seeking caring, committed, and enthusiastic individuals ready to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across a range of inclusive mainstream and specialist schools.

This is a brilliant opportunity to kickstart a rewarding career in education—helping students aged 5 to 16 who may face challenges such as:

Mental health conditions
♿ Physical disabilities
️ Communication difficulties
Behavioural challenges

Role Overview:
Start Date: October 2025
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (may vary slightly by school)
Schedule: Monday to Friday (term-time only)
Locations: Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire
Potential for permanent employment for the right candidate


Key Responsibilities:
✅ Provide tailored support for pupils with SEN (1:1 or in small groups)
✅ Work closely with teachers and wider support teams
✅ Assist in delivering customised lessons and activities
✅ Help implement Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs)
✅ Promote a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
✅ Build strong, trusting relationships with students and staff


Who We’re Looking For:
Genuinely passionate about education and youth support
Confident communication and behaviour management skills
Experience with SEN or behavioural needs (desirable but not essential)
Background in education, care, or sports coaching (preferred)
Flexible, proactive, and adaptable to student needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
