Position: Unqualified Teaching Assistant
Location: Bristol
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Daily Pay: £89.38

Teaching Personnel is offering a unique opportunity to step into an impactful, full-time Teaching Assistant role within a range of Special Education Needs (SEN) schools in Bristol and the surrounding areas. We are searching for individuals who are enthusiastic, caring, and ready to make a lasting difference.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Supporting teachers in delivering creative, engaging, and adapted lessons.
• Working closely with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Encouraging pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development.
• Helping create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
• Assisting in the preparation of teaching resources and learning materials.
• Assisting in delivering tailored lesson content and activities.
• Fostering a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.


What We’re Looking For:
• No formal qualifications required – just dedication, reliability, and a genuine love for working with children.
• A willingness to learn and grow within the role.
• An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply – we can assist).
• Completion of Level 2 Safeguarding training (available through Teaching Personnel).
• Adaptable approach to meet the varied needs of individual students.
• Experience with SEN or challenging behaviour (desirable, but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
