Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a SEN Learning Support Assistant to work in Alternative Provision based in Brighton & Hove.

About the Role:

The role of an SEN Learning Support Assistant will be to support students on a 1:1 basis both in class support and out of lessons intervention. You will be supporting students with additional needs SEN or SEMH in Secondary schools.

The support you provide will be mostly on a 1:1 basis but you will also be needed to help out with small group support when working within the learning support base.

We are seeking SEN Learning Support Assistants with experience supporting students with any of the following:  Autism, ADHD, Aspergers and behaviour needs EBD and SEMH.

Dependant on experience you will be looking at a daily pay rate of GBP60 - GBP70 a day, you will be required to work full time, from Monday – Friday.

You must:

  • Be a caring and patient individual with at least 6 months experience supporting (personal or professional) children or individuals with SEN needs.
  • You must have a valid DBS on the update service - Teaching Personnel can help you apply for this if needed
  • You must be able to provide two references when asked.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
