SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary School
Location: Brent, London
Sector: Secondary Education – SEN Support
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible Supply
Salary: £85–£105 per day (based on experience, inclusive of holiday pay)

The Role
• Support pupils with a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties
• Assist with the delivery of tailored learning plans and behaviour strategies
• Provide 1:1 or small group support within a mainstream classroom setting
• Work alongside class teachers and the SENCO to ensure pupil progress and wellbeing
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

About You
• Calm, caring, and confident in building relationships with students
• Previous experience with SEN or in a support role is highly desirable
• A background in education, psychology, youth work, or care is an advantage
• Strong communication skills and a patient, proactive approach
• Committed to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable learners
• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS and full vetting checks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
