SEN Teaching Assistant - Bradford

The SENCO of a Primary School in Bradford (BD3) is looking for an outstanding teaching assistant to support pupils with special educational needs.

The post will entail working with individual pupils, either on a 1:1 basis or as part of a small group, to support the teacher in meeting the children’s SEN needs.

You will be working closely with the class teacher, phase leader and the SENCo to secure high quality provision and good outcomes for our pupils with SEN.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working as a teaching assistant with primary age pupils
• Have experience of working with children with special educational needs including Autism.
• Be passionate about inclusion and meeting children’s individual needs
• Be positive, proactive and solution focused
• Have high expectations of yourself and the pupils you work with
• Be willing to ‘go the extra mile’ for our pupils
