Job description

 

We are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive Secondary SEN School in the DE3 area and are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team.

This rewarding role involves supporting students with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning and achieve their full potential. Due to the needs of the pupils, strong behaviour management skills, resilience, and a calm, patient approach are essential.

We have both full-time positions and flexible day-to-day opportunities available.

Requirements:

✅ Previous experience working within an SEN setting
✅ Strong behaviour management skills
✅ A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
✅ A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
