Job description

The Opportunity

We are inviting applications for a SEN Teaching Assistant position to support children and young people aged 3 to 18.

This is a full-time role with an immediate start, offering a rewarding opportunity to work across both primary and secondary provisions within a specialist educational setting.

Your Role

  • Support pupils throughout the school day with learning and routines

  • Work across primary and secondary age groups as required

  • Encourage engagement, confidence and independence

  • Build positive, professional relationships with pupils and staff

  • Support emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour


 

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of 6 months’ childcare experience, especially supporting children with SEN

  • A caring, patient and adaptable approach

  • Confidence working with a wide age range from 3 to 18

  • A proactive team player with a genuine passion for education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
