SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time – Start September 2025 – Bournemouth

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs?

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist primary school in Bournemouth from September 2025.

This full-time role (8.30am to 3.00pm) offers the opportunity to work with children aged 5 to 11 in a structured and supportive environment that champions every child’s development.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting pupils with SEN needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

  • Helping children regulate their emotions and behaviour through proven strategies

  • Assisting class teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons

  • Creating a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment for all learners

  • Collaborating with professionals including therapists, SENCOs and teaching staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
