SEMH Teaching Assistant – Full-time Role – Bournemouth Primary School

Your Role and Contribution

As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping children develop their emotional regulation, build confidence, and re-engage positively with their learning.

Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you’ll be involved in delivering lesson support, managing behaviour, and building trusting relationships with pupils who require a compassionate and patient approach.

 

Working with Teaching Personnel

As an educator with Teaching Personnel, you will benefit from weekly pay through PAYE, a dedicated recruitment consultant to guide you through placements, and access to free or heavily subsidised CPD including Team Teach and Autism Awareness training.

You’ll also have the flexibility to shape your working week and the opportunity to build valuable experience in a variety of specialist settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
