Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with local Birmingham based schools to appoint confident Teaching Assistants to support children with moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties, in education settings.
The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable to change, have outstanding communication skills and a passion to make a difference to young lives.
Roles are responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Working alongside the class teacher to aid progression and development
- Liaising with a range of professionals to provide exceptional care for students
- Leading small group activities under the guidance of the class teacher
- Encouraging and motivating students to gain valuable skills
- Following targets set in Educational Health Care Plans
Essential requirements:
- Relevant degree or experience working with SEN children
- Possess a child enhanced DBS
- Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
