Teaching Personnel are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our Primary School in Barnoldswick (BB18). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering numeracy and literacy interventions to students who require additional support. The role will involve working closely with class teachers to plan and deliver effective interventions, as well as monitoring and assessing the progress of students. 

Start date: September 2023 

You must have a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare for this position - NVQ or CACHE 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver numeracy and literacy interventions to students who require additional support
  • Work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver effective interventions
  • Monitor and assess the progress of students
  • Provide support to teachers and students in the classroom
  • Liaise with parents and other professionals as required

Key Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of delivering numeracy and literacy interventions in a Primary School setting
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This is a full-time position with a view to a permanent placement. The school offers a supportive working environment and opportunities for professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
