Teaching Assistants – Near Andover (Full-Time Positions Available)
Location: Rural setting near Andover Grateley Village, Hampshire
Salary: £13.75 per hour

A specialist independent school near Andover is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their committed team supporting children and young people aged 9–19 with a range of social, emotional, and mental health needs, alongside other associated learning differences such as autism, ADHD, and attachment difficulties.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of students who require tailored support and understanding to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Supporting students in the classroom and during activities, both on-site and off-site

Assisting in the development and implementation of individual learning plans
-
Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting emotional well-being
-
Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and wider school staff
Essential Requirements:
-
Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN or SEMH setting

A compassionate, resilient, and flexible approach
-
A current DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one prior to employment
-
Access to own transport is essential due to the rural location of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
