Supply SEN Teaching Assistant – Altrincham (WA15)

Teaching Personnel are the largest educator agency in the UK, serving primary and secondary SEN and SEMH schools in and around Altrincham (WA15). We are seeking Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs.
  • Assist classroom teachers in implementing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with students to support their emotional well-being.
  • Help students with their academic and personal development.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN or SEMH needs is necessary.
  • Passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of students.
  • A willingness to obtain an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service if not already in possession.
  • Availability to work on a flexible basis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
