Teaching Personnel is currently searching for Teaching Assistant, in an 'Outstanding' Rated School by OFSTED in Trafford. The school caters for pupils aged 2 - 11 many with autistic spectrum disorder and some with physical and language difficulties. As a member of staff within this school you would be involved with classes of between 5-9 pupils with at least one other member of staff also in the room. The ideal candidate for this role would have:

• Experience of working with Autism
• A warm and caring personality
• A passion and dedication for working with children

The curriculum taught has been devised by the school to meet the needs of all pupils regardless of age and is linked as much as possible to the national curriculum. While at the school you would be supported with continuous programme of CPD to constantly improve your practice.

Your role at the school would be to assist the class teacher and possibly support other TA's in the room throughout the school day. Your main duties will include helping pupils with their work, assistance in group work activities, providing an alternative environment for the pupils to work to promote the pupils progress and help them reach their full potential.
