SEN Teaching Assistant - Behaviour - Long Term

Our SEN Team Leader Bethan is currently working with a big client school Based in Penarth who are independent special school that offers day and residential placements for students aged 7 - 19. The students have difficulty learning as a result of their emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and Aspergers Syndrome.

They help develop young people's emotional wellbeing and social skills. The aim is to develop students to be effective learners so they are able to cope better with the things they find challenging. They do this through a focus on establishing positive and healthy relationships, emotional wellbeing and developing social skills.

They are currently on the look out for 2 additional teaching assistants to work through us initially with the likelihood of a permanent contract after a specific amount of time. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who is fancying a change in career or if you have a keen interest in behaviour and/or psychology.
