SEN Teaching Assistant – Bamber Bridge
Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with complex needs? A supportive and inclusive school in Bamber Bridge is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a rewarding role where you will support children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and severe Special Educational Needs (SEN) throughout their school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with PMLD and severe SEN in their everyday school activities and lessons.
- Provide personal care to pupils as required.
- Work closely with the class teacher and other staff to deliver a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt to work across all year groups, from Early Years through to Key Stage 4.
- Promote the physical, emotional, and social development of pupils.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in childcare, support work, or a similar setting is desirable.
- Comfortable working with children with a range of complex needs.
- Patient, empathetic, and resilient in challenging situations.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check prior to starting the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
