Teaching Personnel are currently working with a school in Leicestershire who are currently looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Mentor.
The school:
They are a special school for students with ASD. social, Emotional and Attachment difficulties, Challenging Behaviour, and/or additional complex needs. The school provides a nurturing and therapeutic environment, with personalised educational pathways enabling students to achieve and reach their full potential. A positive, safe, therapeutic & nurturing environment which has a greater focus on smaller, more direct and attentive classes with a high ratio of experienced teachers & support staff is where you could potentially work.
This position is full-time, working with students in Key Stages 3 and 4 with Autism and challenging behaviour. Due to the nature of the position you must have strong behaviour management skills and able to adapt to any given situation.

The Criteria for the position:
- School-based experience in a similar role working with SEMH and/or challenging behaviour is essential.
- Qualifications beneficial
- Available full-time and Immediate start.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service.
- Youth/Community work experience advantageous.
