Job description

SEN Teacher - Lancaster (LA2)

 

We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teacher to join the Secondary Department of a well-established school in Lancaster. In this role, you will support pupils with a variety of complex needs including autism, ADHD, and trauma. Helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. This position will involve teaching Maths, English, and Science.

 

Requirements:

  • Completed Safeguarding Training (support can be provided if needed)
  • QTS / PGCE / QTLS or equivalent teacher training
  • Degree in any field (subjects such as Maths, English, or Science are preferred)
  • A positive, resilient attitude and a genuine passion for supporting young people
  • Previous SEN experience, including ASC, complex needs, or challenging behaviour
  • An enhanced DBS check (assistance available if required)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
