SEN Teacher needed – Temp to Perm Opportunity in Preston 

Teaching Personnel are seeking passionate and dedicated SEN Teachers to join our partner schools across Preston. The roles are fantastic temp-to-perm opportunities, giving you the chance to make a lasting impact on pupils’ lives while securing a long-term role.

The Role:

• Delivering engaging and tailored lessons to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASC, SEMH, MLD, and SLD.

• Supporting pupils in Primary, Secondary, and specialist SEN settings.

• Working closely with support staff and school leaders to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

• Adapting teaching methods to meet individual EHCP targets.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification.

• Experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential – training and support provided).

• Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills.

• A positive, resilient, and empathetic approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
