The successful SEN English Teacher will:

  • Have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents and students
  • Good behavioural management skills
  • Have experience working in an SEN setting
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Effectively challenge pupils to achieve, using a range of engaging methods

Our London SEN Branch are currently working exclusively with an outstanding provision in Ilford. We are looking for experienced SEN EnglishTeachers to join our growing team this year. The position is to work with children who have various learning difficulties and are working through specialised curriculum.

About the role

As an SEN Teacher, you will support the named pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis and be able to work alongside other professionals including social workers, local authorities to ensure the child's lesson plans are accessible. The school do offer bespoke educational plans for each pupil, so successful candidates will be required to adapt their teaching to each individual pupil.
